Training Schools

Reading the signs
Thursday, September 25th, 2008A high percentage of signs amongst dogs are the same from dog to dog, but occasionally they might differ. When your dog looks at you with an alert stare, it probably means he/she is asking for play, attention or just requesting his/her dinner. When a strange dog looks at you in the eyes, and stares, this is usually an aggressive sign. They are generally attempting to ‘sum’ you up.

Clipping Those Claws
Wednesday, September 24th, 2008Walking your dog along the pavement also has the added advantage of keeping his/her claws worn down as dogs who only walk on softer ground, such as grass, repeatedly require their claws clipping by a vet. You can clip them yourself with a pair of special claw clippers available from most pet stores.
