Bergamasco Description
The Bergamasco is a powerfully built breed of dog and they have a square shape to their form. Their coat comprises of three layers. A short, oily undercoat followed by a long ‘goat hair’ layer and finished with a woolly outer coat. The latter two coats actually matt together to form cords or flocks, this gives the Bergamasco its incredibly unique appearance. They can be grey, black or fawn in colour.Bergamasco Character
Bergamascos are a very well balanced dog; they are very calm and patient. They are independent, incredibly alert and brave. They will bond extremely quickly with their family and like to protect the children. They can live outdoors if introduced to it from an early age and have the perfect coat for the colder weather.
