Chinese Crested Description
The Chinese Crested is a very petite, slender breed of dog with a rounded head and large bat like, erect ears. The breed has a fairly long muzzle and large almond shaped eyes. They are hairless and very often their skin is spotted. As their name suggests they have hair on their head but they also have it on their paws and their tail. The tail is either carried low or straight out behind the dog.Chinese Crested Character
The Chinese Crested is a delightful little dog with a huge personality. They are exceptionally agile and light footed with a huge desire to play making them ideal companions for children. They are very dainty and elegant with an affectionate nature. The risk is to over protect them as they appear so vulnerable but this will only make them timid, they are tougher than they look. The Chinese Crested is super intelligent and thrives on training. Their skin will benefit from regular bathing and a little cream or oil being massaged in to it to keep it supple. They adore companionship from their family and are a loyal and loving little dog. Please note: This is only a guide.
