Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Description

The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel is a small dog with a beautiful long, silky coat. They have a flat shaped skull and pendent ears that are long and gloriously feathered. Their tail is long and flowing. Colours range from the more common black and tan through to ruby and chestnut and white.

Cavaliers are a small and affectionate breed of dog; they are effortlessly simple to train as they are very intelligent and eager to please. They do not bark if it is not deemed necessary but will announce visitors, they are too friendly to make a good watchdog though. The breed is friendly to everyone and everything and is perfect as a companion for children or the elderly.
