Briard Description
The Briard is a large and fairly powerful sheepdog. They have a long, coarse coat with shaggy eyebrows, beard and moustache. Their tail is long and beautifully feathered and the ears are erect. They can be black, tawny or grey.Briard Character
Briards make especially good watchdogs as they are tremendously protective. They do tend to bond with one family member closer than the others and they adore children. They are alert and tough dogs and although they are easy to train they can be dominant.Please note: This is only a guide.
