STUD FEE - FREE in exchange for first or second pick of the litter. I will only offer stud services to a KC Registered BLACK bitch with a lovely square and strong face. Ideally I would like her hip scored with low scores or eyes tested. She should display great athleticism on all fours and typical characteristics of labradors including being an accomplished swimmer and retriever. Ideally, she should look as much like Monty as possible, as he is a beautiful specimen of labrador and deserves to be bred with a good looking bitch.
DESCRIPTION
Monty – The Superb Sire
Monty is undoubtedly the most handsome Labrador you will ever witness. Not only is he beautiful in the face, but his nature and personality is truly out of this world – it’s as if he just fell out of Labrador Heaven. Monty boasts an amazing and registered Kennel Club 5 generation certificate and comes from a superb line of field trial champions including the prestigious line of Drakeshead in all colours but mainly black. As a puppy Monty was walking to heal without a lead by 3 months old, a truly impressive feat that is very rare and hard to achieve in any breed of dog. To this day Monty walks to heal on the road and out in public. He would have made an excellent guide dog (and gun dog)! Monty’s lovely and calm nature means that I can enjoy taking him anywhere and know he will behave impeccably, something I have been able to do since he was a puppy. On walks, he always attracts attention from fellow dog owners and has been complimented by vets, professional breeders and gun dog experts on his absolutely stunning face, athleticism and strong body. I have been told by top Crufts’ judges that he is perfect in the face and possesses a wonderful walk, much like you see in top champions at Crufts. He also possesses the perfect ‘beaver’ like tail that labradors should have. Monty adores his walks and is a dog which thrives on exercise as much as being a companion and acting as my shadow. He is a hugely accomplished swimmer and will swim as far and fast as he possibly can to fetch a ball. At 5 ½ Monty is still an excellent retriever of the ball and is able to jump far and high displaying his brilliant athleticism and strong hips. He moves and looks like a 2/3 year old showing off his superb champion genes and to rub in the faces of those other labs out there, he is barely going grey! Monty is brilliant with children, other people and especially small animals such as cats, guinea pigs and hamsters. Although Monty has a very gentle nature, he will bark at new comers who come onto the premises to alert me, after which he will start wagging his tail when they come close, like the softie he is. He has a lovely, loud and deep bark! Monty is always complimented on his stunning good looks, excellent posture and regal walk, lovely head, deep eyes and strong athletic body not to mention his truly irresistible and kind nature.
